Positive Behavioral Support

Program

Positive behavior support program is a broad, generic term that describes a set of strategies or procedures designed to improve behavioral success by employing non-punitive, proactive, systematic techniques. At Fordham-Lewis Consulting, Positive Behavior Interventions and Strategies have the potential to improve the environment, reduce negative behavior, strengthen responsible behavior, and increase and genaralize skills.

Adults 21+ that have intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or behavioral health and autism diagnoses benefit from skilled, supportive staff members offering a strong emphasis on applied behavior analysis (ABA). Our services are provided in one or more locations determined by the individual’s needs, ranging from day programs to the larger community settings.

Why you need a Positive Behavioral Support Program

The programs help the people of all age groups. Our positive behavioral Intervention strategies provide an environment to minimize inappropriate social interactions, to promote verbal and non-verbal interactions, and to encourage friendships and communication with staff and administrators.
